Wien, Carl Gerold, 1833. In-8° (13 x 21 cm.). VIII + 303 pp. + 5 folding plates out of text. Beautiful romantic crimson full shagreen binding. Smooth spine profusely decorated with gilding and black bands. Gold title. Caps and corners rubbed. Covers cold-stamped and framed by a frieze of palmettes (a few dark spots). All edges gilded and stamped (very good quality of the gilding). Roulette on the edges and on the counter-flats. Double guards. Inscription in ink on the title page — inventory number). Another in pencil on the first inside cover, ex-libris. Slight scattered foxing (see photos above).
