Each consisting of pages of text (with illustrations in the text) followed by full pages of plates (often photographs) dotted with inserts often enhanced s (14 in all, including Poiret dresses by L'Hom, others — Worth, Jenny, Beer — by Dartey or Lorenzi; flyleaves by Georges Auriol; reproductions of posters, advertisements for books illustrated by Auguste Lepère or Georges Barbier,) several missing from the National Library copy. hardcover full printed canvas. Illustrated butterfly with the title on the first flat (stamped) . Missing guards. Coverage and list of absent committee members — except for the first number: the numbering starts on page 5 for the next 6 numbers. Then again at 1 for the last three. Top of first dish soiled.
