Amsterdam, At the expense of the company , 1740. In-12 (10 x 16.5 cm.). 2 volumes in 1 volume: XXXV + 16 ff. + 288pp. & 267 pp. Original edition. Full speckled calf binding. Smooth spine decorated with gilt boxes. Arms in tail (Azure, with a chevron Or, accompanied by three stars of the same, two in chief & one in point, surmounted by a count's crown). Boards framed with a triple gilt fillet. Fillet on the cuts. All edges reddened. Corners slightly rubbed. Slight wetting on the front cover (top left). Small lack in the tail of the bit of the first dish. Ink stain on the vertical edge, not affecting the interior. Very good interior (see photos above).
