Paris, at the publication office, 1836. In-8° (13.5 x 22 cm.). 192 p. + 4 folding maps + 46 plates engraved after Marville and Foussereau (missing the majority of serpentes). Headbands, drop caps, cul-de-lamp. Romantic half sheepskin period binding. Smooth back decorated with a phoenix decoration (very rubbed). Dishes framed with a gilt fillet. Corners rubbed. Ex-libris on the reverse of the half-title page. Interior good with some foxing only affecting some of the engravings. Small tears without loss to the cards (see photos above).
