Small stain on the bit of the first cover. Half-title and title pages slightly creased at the bottom. Corners and caps rubbed. Upper corners broken at the tip. Fresh interior, despite some discreet foxing (see photos above).

Rare work by Antoine Balland, chief pharmacist of the army, compiling all the works composed by military pharmacists. Each entry includes a very brief biographical sketch.
